I bought this microwave about 1 year ago. It worked fine at first then the button to open the door started malfunctioning. I have to push it several times to get it to open. This microwave replaced the previous Frigidaire I had, which I got rid of because it had the same problem. I was told that model was discontinued and this one replaced it. Because I'm having the same problem, it appears there may be a defect in this door.

garbage. Frigidaire said they could come out to look at it for $125. ONE MONTH OUT OF WARRANTY! It was not even used that often.

Microwave blew a fuse after a year. Repair technician (from Electrolux) explained this microwave is prone to blowing fuses if you open microwave via door opener mechanism while the microwave is running. This seems like a really bad user experience, because everyone does this. They wanted $500 to fix this, which is more than the asking price. Microwave is 4 months out of warranty.

Used this 0226 unit for less than 14 months and it died. The door latch always was wobbly but it finally short circuited. And of course I paid for the trim kit, too. Expensive piece of nothing!

We have 4 of these models from our office build out. One of them just stopped working. I will only stay on for 2-3 seconds then cut off. I am not sure what the solution is, but I am concerned because we have 4 of them and with more people in the office, I am worried that they may all break down. Has anyone had this issue? I can only give 3 stars at this point. It really depends on customer service as to how I view this moving forward.

HORRIBLE Microwave! I've had our share of microwaves as we have relocated corporately 10 times in 20 years. Purchased all new appliances (August 2019) when we moved in our current house. The microwave never warmed a plate of food enough without another round of warming. The double ovens were so bad I don't have the time to go through everything right now. i never fully trusted baking cookies and a cake.Today, we had a Frigidaire Repairman to come in today (6/22/23), trip charge $99 trip charge and now a decision to repair or replace, I will choose to replace. The microwave runs every time we open the door. that's been going on for at least 3 months...We turn breaker on and off, and unplug to no avail.. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. We will not be purchasing another Frigidaire appliance. Bummer that the microwave is less than 4 yrs old

Bought a brand new house and this microwave came with it. It only worked for about four months then it started making horrible noises and throwing sparks and arcing badly. Repair man came as it was under warranty and it was determined to be defective. If I could gi e 0 stars I would. Still waiting for a resolution.

I have only had this product a little over a year and the Magnetron has already gone out (Manufactured November 2020). Started sparking and a fire broke out inside the microwave. It seems from the other reviews on here that that is a big problem with this model. I'd like to figure out how to get a replacement microwave where I don't have to order another trim kit? 25 days after purchase, microwave blows the breaker when cooking begins. If door isn™™t opened after this, will arc when plugged into another outlet. Very difficult to contact Frigidaire, going on a month trying to get it repaired - no replacement offered, even after asking. Beware.

Bought a new home, builder purchased this junk microwave. 1 st one lasted 2 weeks, replaced, 2nd one lasted 2 months. On dedicated circuit but blows breaker and sparks when reset. Demanding a different brand hopefully the matching oven and fridge aren't junk as well.

We got this microwave because it was the perfect size for our kitchen remodel. The loud, never ending, nagging beeps were easily fixed by silencing. Now I hear nothing when done, but it™™s better this way. The real problems started about 13 months after we installed it (1 month after the warranty expired). It clearly has a short in it and it feels dangerous to use. So now it just looks pretty :(

If had this model for a little over 2.5 years and it had been operating wonderfully. Recently it started making sparks and I could smell something burning. I don™™t know what had started the problem but I™™m glad it didn™™t caught my kitchen cabinet on fire.

The product was professionally installed. Looks great. Always seemed to cook hot, over cooking meals and getting microwave dishes too hot to handle. Then it started sparking, smoking and caught fire. Getting it replaced under warrantee has been a disaster. Going on 4 weeks and still waiting for installation of new unit.

After less than 1 year, fire bombs started happening. The repair guy said the microwaves were shooting out sideways instead of down. ™It™™s a known issue, it can™™t be fixed™. Got a replacement under warranty, but I™™m now afraid to use it.

This is third time I have tried to make a review. The microwave is faulty as it caught fire less than a year use. I have called Frigidaire they sent the wrong service people and I called back today and was told they would have to search for a service provider it could take serval days. It seems all I gotten w is a run around. The microwave caught fire with cooking in a plastic dish no cover for 45 seconds.

So disappointed™¦. 2 years to the day this microwave crashed. Of course not under warranty but best I can tell it™™s the high voltage capacitor. The part itself is not that expensive but the service would be over 200.00. We took out a payment plan and had just finished the installments. So disappointed.

Our FGM0226NUF microwave was installed in 2019 and we had no problems until a few days ago with smell of burnt rubber. We were told this can be an electrical problem and not to use it. After checking prices for repair it may not be worth it. In the meanwhile we are using our 10 year old table LG model

The first thing you notice on this appliance is the vast amount of interior space it offers. This microwave is very spacious inside. The controls are easy to use with many more cooking options than several other brands. We are very pleased with this model and the cooking results it delivers.

We have had this microwave a little over a year and now it won™™t work. It keeps tripping the circuit breaker. Customer service hasn™™t helped just giving me the run around. It has been two months and no resolution. I™™d love it if they would stand behind their product but that has not been my experience. And now my real review keeps being ™moderated™ and not posted. Improvement with customer service is very needed.

My Bosch built in microwave ™died™™ after almost 10 years of constant use. To replace it, I chose the Frigidaire, mostly because of the lower cost than a new Bosch. The unit fits well into the space above my wall oven, although I need to have an extra panel installed due to the configuration. Operationally, the new microwave works beautifully. It is sizable and powerful. I am pleased with my choice, and would recommend this microwave without reservations.

This is a warranty replacement for the previous one which was defective 3 months out of the four months we had it. This new one is working but the touch control panel is cheaper made soft panel whereas the previous touch panel was firm and matched the built in oven which the new one does not.
